This is the backside of the photo entitled "A Distinguished Gentleman." Apparently taken at Vandyk Studio, 41, Buckingham Palace Road, London, S. W. 1. This must have been some fancy studio as it says above that "HM the King, HRH Prince of Wales, HM Queen Mary: By Appointment." Below the address in small print is: Telephone_Victoria 7260, then NO. 56067B (I think that is the print number.) Can anyone identify this lofty looking gent?

Nice old picture of a man who appears to be from India in glasses & suit. On front at bottom left side of picture is written in pencil "VanDkye, London." Was "rescued" from Antiques & More, Navy Blvd., Pensacola, FL. See also the scan of the back of this picture for more information!
