When his mother remarried, the custom was for the first born male to get adopted by the new father. He was Salvatore Conti before the adoption. His brothers and sisters remained Conti.
Next to him in the photograph is his wife Ethel Mae Owens b. February 13, 1892 in Indiana. The baby is Pauline Paradore b. September 03, 1914.
Samuel worked for the B & O Railroad. They lived mostly in Lima, OH.

Lina Fiorentino (Grandma), Rose Censale (Ma), Mary Censale (age 11), Frank Censale (age 10), Fannie Censale (age 8). Fannie's hair had fallen out due to a bad reaction from a shot. She says they cut Mary's hair and tied to Fannie's head.
