Charles Pulham and the Bender Family

Charles Pulham was born in a village called Stradbroke in Suffolk England 21 Feb 1842. Generations of his family had been born and bred there since the 1400s. He was one of the first to move and he did this by emigrating to Chicago, Illinois in 1867. He was a stair carpenter who lived and died 1926 in Elmhurst.

Charles Augustus Stafford was born 3 Jan 1830 in Cambridgeshire, England and died 22 Jul 1922 in Titusville, PA. He married Elizabeth Buckley Stafford. Charles is buried with Elizabeth in Greendale Cemetery in Meadville.

The small boy sitting on the floor is my grandfather, Edwin Leech. Edwin's mother and father, Enoch Leech and Roshanna Bennett Leech, are on the right of the photo.

Edwins sisters could also be in the photo.
