Elena Shapiro Wayne

Elena Shapiro Wayne. daughter of the late Jacob and Magdiline nee’ Andrzejewski Sharpiro was born September 15, 1955 in Waraw, Poland and passed away peacefully in her sleep August 14. 2013 after a long illness. Elena, with her parents migrated to the United States in 1965 and made their home for many years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1976 Elena married Derski Papish Wayne, first living for a period in Detroit, Michigan and then settling permanently in Muskegon, Michigan. Elena was an entrepreneur/business woman and sold Watkins products for many years. She also found time for knitting and quilting. She was very active in the Moose Lodge, The Polish-American Society and daughters of Mary & Joseph. Elena was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Norton Shores, Michigan and also from time to time attended The Chapel Of Light Spiritualist Church in Muskegon Heights.
