Thought to be Caroline (Merkle) Froeschle, mother of Caroline (Froeschle) Ruf. She lived at Rotenberg, near Stuttgart, Wuerttemberg (Germany) and later near Geneva, Switzerland. Photo simply says "Grandmother Froeschle". From the collection of the late Betty Frey of Tucson AZ.

Martha Borealis Nichols Stewart (born Apr 15, 1856, died Sept 7, 1945) is the daughter of Andrew Nichols and Margaret David Nichols. She is buried in Saegertown Cemetery, Crawford County.
