Roberta Simmers was born and raised in New Philadelphia, Ohio. George Riggle was born in Pa. but at the age of two his family moved to Dover, Ohio. They are both buried in East Ave cemetery, New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Samuel S. Urfer, son of John and Anna Maria Finzer Urfer was born March 15, 1860. He married Lauura B. Minnis on February 19, 1888. He was the owner of S.S. Urfer Big Sore in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Ralph T. Horning was youngest son of George F. and Harriet M. Perry Horning. He was born October 6, 1859 He worked as a clerk at T.K.Williams. In 1884 he purchased half interest in the business changing the name to Williams and Horning. In 1888 he sold the store to Urfer and Kinsey.On July 9, 1885 he married Eva M. Scott, who was daughter of B.P. Scott. He was one of the incorporators of The Ohio Stove Pipe Company.

Benjamine P Scott was born January 24, 1834, the son of Benjamine Scott and Susan McCandlass. He came to Ohio in 1854, becoming a store clerk in Carroll County. In 1859 he started a general store in Jewett, in Harrison COunty and married Chastina D. Wirt of New Rumley, Ohio. She was the daughter of John Wirt and Mary Shull. She died in 1865 leaving two daughters Mary S., wife of Albert Rippeth a dry good merchant in Coshocton, Ohio and Eva M., wife of Ralph T. Horning , New Philadelphia, Ohio. B.P Scott was president of Spicer Manufacturing Company and Ohio Stove Pipe Manufacturing Company. In 1873 he married Emma, daughter of David H. and Mary Atkinson Harman. They had one son Benjamine Harman Scott.

Victor Donahey left school for press work where he worked from office boy to printing room with the Ohio Democrat and New Philadelphia Times. In 1903 he was elected County Auditor. On January 5, 1897 he married Mary Edity, daughter of William H. and Margaret Sterling Harvey. The children of Victor and Mary Edith were Elizabeth, Charles, Robert, John and Hal.

Born April 8, 1875, son of John C. Donahey and Catherine Chaney.Harry Donahey showed aptitude for drawing and sketching. When he was 18 he entered Cleveland School of Art. He was a cartoonist for Cleveland World and Cleveland Plain Dealer. On June 1, 1899, he married Bertha Cox of Marquette, Michigan.

John C. Donahey born October 13, 1845, son of James and a Miss Fulton. March 21, 1871, he married Catherine Chaney. He was a teacher, a stock broker,township clerk, and he became the first Mayor. He was elected Clerk of Courts in Tuscarawas County. The children of John C. Donahey are A. Victor, born 1873,J.Harry, born 1875,John William , born 1883. Their residence was in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
