 <title>House of Ralph T. Horning, New Philadelphia</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Ralph T. Horning was youngest son of George F. and Harriet M. Perry Horning. He was born October 6, 1859 He worked as a clerk at T.K.Williams. In 1884 he purchased half interest in the business changing the name to Williams and Horning. In 1888 he sold the store to Urfer and Kinsey.On July 9, 1885 he married Eva M. Scott, who was daughter of B.P. Scott. He was one of the incorporators of The Ohio Stove Pipe Company.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>B.P.Scott home, New Philadelphia, Ohio</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Benjamine P Scott was born January 24, 1834, the son of Benjamine Scott and Susan McCandlass. He came to Ohio in 1854, becoming a store clerk in Carroll County. In 1859 he started a general store in Jewett, in Harrison COunty and married Chastina D. Wirt of New Rumley, Ohio. She was the daughter of John Wirt and Mary Shull. She died in 1865 leaving two daughters Mary S., wife of Albert Rippeth a dry good merchant in Coshocton, Ohio and Eva M., wife of Ralph T. Horning , New Philadelphia, Ohio. B.P Scott was president of Spicer Manufacturing Company and Ohio Stove Pipe Manufacturing Company. In 1873 he married Emma, daughter of David H. and Mary Atkinson Harman. They had one son Benjamine Harman Scott.&lt;/p&gt;
