&lt;p&gt;P.M. Douglas was a justice of the peace in Washington Township who helped many civil war veterans and their widows to obtain their pensions.  He was a cousin of Governor, General and Senator Edward S. Martin of Pa.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Photo taken about 1918.     &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Bethlehem Baptist Church, Ruff Creek, PA</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Bethlehem Baptist Church at Ruff Creek, Greene County burned on Sunday morning, Mar 26, 1911 the Sunday that Rev. Cottrill was to preach his farewell sermon. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The church was erected by H.G. Clayton and the bricks were made locally across the street near Ruff Creek General Store. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The church has since been rebuilt.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Bone bible watch fob carved by Corp. R.J. Tukesbrey, from Ruff Creek, Greene Co., PA, while he was a prisoner during the Civil War at Belle Island, Va. His initials are on the watch fob. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Corp. Turkesbrey was also a prisoner at Andersonville, Ga., where he contacted scurvy.  &lt;/p&gt;
