Penn Traffic Co.

In the very early 1940's my mother took me to Penn Traffic Co., on a bus, from where we lived in Rockville, just outside of South Fork, PA. She bought me my first "store-bought" dress there, when I was eight years old. From age three, I remember going there with her and she always bought us two boxes of candy, from the candy glass display counter. One would be Peppermint Patties, and one would be Wintergreen Patties.
