Ella Mae Judy, 5 May 1906 - 18 Aug 1992. She was a homemaker and mother of 5 children, 4 who lived.
Bessie Jeanette Davis Judy, born 31 Jul 1876, the daughter of Andrew T. and Mary Elizabeth McKee Davis. Wife of Charles Burton Judy and mother of the children in the photograph. Died 22 Mar 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI.
Charles Burton Judy Sr., 18 Apr 1879 - 3 Jul 1977. Injured while working on the railroad while living in PA. Moved with Bessie and daughter Lavesta to Grand Rapids, MI, about 1903. The other children were all born in Grand Rapids. There was also a daughter who died shortly after birth in 1915. Charles purchased a casket company about 1922. Several of his children worked at the business. After his wife Bessie died in 1929, he remarried two more times, and outlived all three wives.
Charles Burton Judy Jr., 1 Dec 1912 - 6 Jun 1974. Worked for his father for several years at the casket company, before going into retail sales.
Benjamin Ivey Judy, 10 Sept 1908 - 1 Jun 1992. Served in the U.S. Navy for numerous years during World War II. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Lavesta Laverne Judy, 23 Aug 1902 - 19 May 1968. Born in Freedom, PA; died in Grand Rapids, MI. Sewed the linings of the caskets. Later in life she lost her eyesight from diabetes.
Robert John Judy, 24 Oct 1910 - 7 Oct 1980. Robert worked in a factory and had two daughters.
