Four Swanson Brothers

Four Swanson Brothers

The Four Swanson Brothers were the sons of Swan "Sven" and Greta Palm Swanson.

Left to right, Carl "Charlie", Ernest C., Frank, and Axel. All four of the brothers were born in Sweden. Swan and Greta had five other children: Emma, Heda, Sven, Aaron and Claus.

Axel took his mother's maiden name, "Palm" and added quist, for his last name. Axel is buried in DuBois, Clearfield Co., PA, the other three are buried in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Youngsville, Warren Co., PA, in the Swanson plot with their father and mother.

Photo taken by G. M. Borg of Warren, Warren Co PA, in the early 1930's.
