Mary Louise Huck Rice and Betty and Marian Hill

In November 1932 a young girl from Wales was returning to Wales with her family. She was a student in Mary Louise Huck's fifth grade class at East Ward School, Sharon, Mercer County Pa. Above is a copy of the card that was signed by all of her classmates and presented to her by her teacher M. Louise Huck. The student was named Betty Hill and appears in the photo at right with her younger sister Marian.

The smaller photo is a Slippery Rock State Normal photo of the teacher Mary Louise Huck Rice.
