Home made dresses & dressed alike. I recall my late mother telling me that they each made these dresses. I recall her telling how they worked out for a “huge” $.25/ day helping neighbor women when they had their babies – cooking for large families, cleaning house, making home-made bread & pies, washing diapers, etc.
