Adolf David Fratcher was born in Saxony, Germany on 25 Apr 1842. He arrived in America about 1867.

David married Christina Breckle, born Sept 1844, the daughter of Christian J. Breckle and Marie Salome on 21 Jan 1868 in Pa. By 1870, they had moved to Gustavus, Trumbull County, Ohio to set up housekeeping. David was a farmer and Christina kept house.

Then by 1880, they moved to New Lebanon, Mercer County, PA. Christine purchased seven acres in Mercer County on 2 Nov 1891, located in the Borough of New Lebanon for five hundred dollars from John Remley and his wife of Kent County, Delaware. However, the family was living in President Township, Venango County, PA in 1900. David was a farmer living in New Lebanon Borough, Mill Creek Township, Mercer, PA by 1910 and he owned his farm free and clear.

Adolf David Fratcher died on the 4 Jun 1921 in PA. Christina died on 17 Oct 1916.
