John Wesley Nichols

John Wesley Nichols served a bodyguard to president Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War, in Co. K, 150th Pennsylvania Volunteers, the unit commonly known as "The President's Bodyguard."  

He was born 28 Jan 1839 in Meadville, Crawford County and died 11 Nov 1910 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.
