Champions of the 1937 high school basketball race! Robert D. Bone of the Central Lions Club presents the club's traveling trophy to Earl Johnson, ace hoop star of the city basketball pennant winners. The Beavers need to win only one more champion ship in order to gain permanent possession of the cup.

Left to right, front, Hank Malde, Harold Anderson, Earl Johnson, Omar Stensen, Sig Sigurdson, Bill Williams, Len Malde, George Mitchell, Coach Frank Rowlee, Harold Wanser, Mel Kasen, and Bill Fleming.

In the background, George Smith and Bob Gislason, who was chosen as the most inspirational member of the team.
