Miss Emma Anderson [younger sister of Mrs. Jennie Anderson Laughlin], was born Sept. 10, 1856. She graduated from Edinboro State Normal 1879. Taught for eight years. She then joined her sister in China, remaining there for seven years. On account of the death of her sister, she sacrificed her life's work to take care of her invalid mother. She remained at home until her mother's death in 1802. She is now teaching in North Carolina.
