Miriam Electa Leason

Miss Miriam Electa Leason was born on the old Leason farm, 1852. She was but 13 years of age when she left the bounds of Scrubgrass congregation. In December of 1875 she commenced her missionary work in Old Mexico; but while there she contracted consumption, was forced to give up her work and return home in April, 1877. After a lingering illness she died August 27, 1878.
