Esquire Kelly

Esquire Kelly was born 9 Dec 1833 in Ithaca, Thompkins Co., NY. He married to Emma Matilda Myers on 25 Jan 1855 in East Spring Creek, Warren Co., PA.

In 1855 he was living in Titusville, Crawford Co., PA where he lived until about 1890 when he moved to South Dakota.

While living in Titusville, Esquire served in the Civil War as a private in Company C of the 169th Pennsylvania Infantry (Capt. Davis's Command). He is shown as muster-in 16 Oct 1862 in Pittsburgh, PA and muster-out 26 Jul 1863 in Harrisburg, PA.

Esquire and Emma Kelly had 11 children, 9 of whom lived to adulthood.

Esquire Kelly died 6 Dec 1919 in Miller, Hand Co., SD.
