Donnally Mills, PA

The Howanstine discussed above is Andrew Jackson Howanstine. He was born on September 18, 1829 and was a carpenter by trade. He enilsted with the 133rd PA volunteer regiment on August 6, 1862 and was discharged on March 23, 1863 on a disability certificate. He died on April 21 or 23, 1863. He was married to Mary E. Duffield and had two children: Anna Laura ("Laura") who married Philip Fickes; and, Clara Elizabeth ("Carrie") who married Lewis E. Donnally whose family operated the mill. I have more information on this line, including Andrew's military pension records and marriage certificate, and am happy to provide it. Also, I am wondering whether it would be possible to get a copy of the picture of Donnally Mills. It is classic. Also, do you have any other shots of Donnally Mills or the area? Thanks!
