Ward Spooner Dolbier (1841-1927) photographed in the 1920s in Oakland, California. He was a native of Kingfield, Maine, and served in the 28th Maine Regiment (Infantry) during the Civil War. A blacksmith and machinist. Moved to California in 1869. A Mason.

Harry E. Hentzell (1879-1937) was a native of Canton, Ohio, who served in Cuba during the Spanish-American War with Troop L, Seventh U. S. Cavalry. After the war he settled in Berkeley, California, where he spent the rest of his life working as a teamster and a fireman. In 1901, he married Olga Zerwer, and they had two children, Edwin and Ruth.
