Samuel Richard Johnson born February 11, 1873 in Maury Co. TN to Wiley William and Mary Frances Hough Johnson. Samuel died May 16, 1947, in Lawrence Co., PA.

He married Charlotte Temple Dover April 20, 1902, in Lawrence Co., TN. Charlotte was born August 22, 1884, in Winston Co., AL to David Washington and Charlotte Temple Robinson Dover.

Charlotte died October 16, 1953, of TB in the Cression Sanatorium, Cression, PA. Samuel and Charlotte are both buried in Savannah Cemetery, Lawrence Co., PA.
