Red Star Taxi

Red Star Taxi

The Red Star taxi company of Roswell. I think these people are the Listons. Henry G. Liston being the owner of the business. They moved here from the town of Liston in Roosevelt co. I would appreciate any information that one could add, and most assuredly shared communication if my guess is right.

I believe this photo is of the Liston family who moved to Roswell from Roosevelt county. Supposedly had the Red Star Taxi business, also a pool hall. I would be happy if someone were able to confirm this. The Liston and Graves families were related.

I believe this is the Liston family, that this photo was taken in Roosevelt county New Mexico. H. G. Liston settled the town that was once Liston. Later they moved to Roswell. I'd like to know more. If this is true, they moved here from Oklahoma, about 1907 with the Graves family.

Leo and Esther Kennedy

Leo and Esther Kennedy

Esther Breimayer Kennedy and Leo Kennedy, mid 1930s sometime. I don't know whose car that is. I think the little girl in the background may be my mother Marguerite Breimayer Breimayer.

Kennedy Grocery, 1960s. This store was owned by my Aunt Esther and Uncle Leo Kennedy, later was run by my sister and brother in law, Nancy and Ron Surrey. I am not sure who ran it after them. The building still exists and is now some kind of youth center.
