Mom was very photogenic and being a beautiful woman also helped.

Myself, Cousin Jim and that 1949 Lincoln

The year was 1948 but my dad was able to buy a brand new 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan as they came out early like they still do. We took our first trip in that Lincoln to Whitewater Wisconsin to visit my Aunt and Uncle, my mother's sister. Cousin Jim and I were like brothers. He died a young man and left his children and wife in a horrible car accident with his 1965 GTO.
