Ephraim and Emma Irene (Reinhard) Morrissette Family

Ephraim was the son of George and Arcelia (Cyrier) Morrissette and the grandson of Toussaint and Lamina "Mina" (Bellegarde) Morrissette and also the grandson of Noel and Emerentienne Elisabeth (Paradis) Cyrier. All Ephraim's grandparents were buried at the St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Illinois on both sides of the entrance lane. Ephraim is buried in southern Illinois at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Emma Irene (Reinhard) Morrissette was the daughter of Ralph and Mary Melissa (Marxmiller) Reinhard and the granddaughter of Philip Louis and Anna (Lohmann) Reinhard and also the granddaughter of Henry and Mary Melissa (Betts) Marxmiller. Her Reinhard grandparents are all buried in Iroquois county, Illinois.
Emma's mother seen in this photograph was Mary Melissa (Marxmiller)Reinahrd who was the daughter of Henry and 2nd wife Mary Melissa(Betts)Marxmiller. Mary Reinhard's mother whom she is named after passed away when she was about 2 or 3 years old. Henry remarried to Emma Peters. It is not known yet where Mary Reinhard's mother Mary Melissa (Betts) Marxmiller ) is buried. She is most likely buried in Illinois. She may be buried in either Iroquois or Vermillion Counties or near any of the locations where Henry resided. Rossville, Danville, Watseka, Illinois. Henry is buried at Rossville Cemetery, in Vermillion County, Illinois with Emma Peters and other family members but 2nd wife is not listed on the cemetery index there.

Amanda's 1st husband was Earl Letheby she remarried after his passing. She had one Letheby son with Earl. She then married Hugh Walker. They had a son and daughter. They are buried in Hampshire, Illinois.
Amanda was the daughter of Philip Louis and Anna (Lohmann) Reinhard who were married in Dodge County, Wisconsin. She was the granddaughter of Gerhard and Louisa (Virchow) Lohmann and also the granddaughter of Christian and Philippina (Reinhard) Reinhard -Both sets of grandparents immigrated to Dodge, County Wisconsin. Her grandpa Christian died in early May of 1878 from an injury to the intestines when a faulty lever came loose and hit him in the stomach area at the family Reinhard Lumberyard business in Reeseville, Wisconsin. He died soon after. Her great grandfather J.P (Johann Philip) Reinhard also immigrated to Wisconsin with Christian and Philippina's family. The Reinhard grandparents are buried in Wisconsin-most likely in Lowell, Dodge County or possibly in Reeseville or Beaverdam, Wisconsin. The Lohmann grandparents are both buried in Sebetha Cemetery in Sebetha, Nemaha County, Kansas. Amanda's parents Philip Louis and Anna Louisa (Lohmann) Reinhard are buried at Old Berg Cemetery in Iroquois County, IL.
Albert and Mary (Zenk/Zank)Lohmann- Golden Wedding Anniversary
Albert was the son of Gerhard and Louisa (Virchow) Lohmann and the grandson of C.F. & Charlotte Virchow (both born in Pommer, Germany but immigrated with their family in early 1850's. Also the grandson of Peter Lohmann (a carpenter from Rhinland, Germany). Albert's mother and father's families immigrated to Dodge County, Wisconsin seperately then they were married in Dodge and Jefferson counties of Wisconsin. Albert and Mary were married in Watertown, Dodge County, Wisconsin. They moved to Ohio with their family after residing in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Kansas. Albert's parents retired in Sebetha, Kansas in the early 1900s. His Lohmann parents are buried in Sebetha Cemetery, Sebetha, Nemaha County, Kansas.
Albert Lohmann was one of 16 children born to Gerhard and Louise (Virchow)Lohmann. His mother Louise was born in Pommer, Germany, the daughter of C.F. and Charlotte Virchow. His father Gerhard was born in Rhineland, Germany and was the son of Peter Lohmann, a carpenter.
Albert was born in Dodge county, Wisconsin about 1861. He married Mary Zenk in Wisconsin. He was a minister of a German Reformed Church. He lived in Wisconsin, Kansas, Nebraska, and Ohio where he was an administrator of a Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. His children with Mary Zenk were: Dena (Seifried)-Ohio, Sarah (Henney)-Ohio, Mabel (Schmidt)-Ohio, Fred Lohmann-Ohio , and Gerhard Lohmann -Texas.
Albert's siblings were: Mary (Miller)-lived in Kansas and Montana, Sophia (married: Paul Wilhelm), Anna (married Philip Reinhard)-moved to Illinois, Ida (Married: Fred Tichener-died in Ilinois and married Jacob Schrober and lived in Kansas), Amil (died at 3 1/2 years old), Fred (married: Anna Haney/ Hanni), Bertha (Married: Ernest Bauret and John Larkin Brown- she is buried in North Carolina), Martha (married: Carl Bohn)-Illinois, Emma Sybilla (married: Herman Bohn who was Carl's brother), Gerhard Herman (married: Emma Bendig-buried in Ohio), Sybilla Amelia (never married? died in Ohio?), Olga (married: William Grundmeier-buried in Ohio), Louisa died in 1875 as an infant-, Lydia died at 2 weeks old 1876, Baby boy Lohmann died 1877.

Laura Ida Reinhard's (1882-1954) 1st husband was Ralph Douglas Russell (1878-1919). He either died in an automobile accident close to home or a farming accident. Both are buried at Old Berg Cemetery, Illinois.
