Martha Freelove Taylor and two unknown children

Blanche Wishard

My mother Lena Smith grew up and was friends with Blanche Wishard in the Byng school area (Sask.)Both families homesteaded in that area. My great Uncle Fred Stevenson was married to Della Wishard.

I have also seen The 1910 usa census record for a Stepson of the Wishard family listed as Ray Goodwin from Martha's first marriage.

In the late 1950's when I was 4 or 5 I can remember Blanche and I think it was Susan (about my age) staying at our house for several weeks prior to moving to BC. Always wondered what happened to them.

I now know that Blanche past away in 2004.

I believe Susan was Blanche's youngest daughter and would now be in here late 50's or early 60's.

Martha Freelove Taylor

Hello. The name Freelove caught my eye, as my 5 times great great grandmother's name was Freelove Chesebrough who married Thomas Taylor in 1780, probably in New York. Three generations later, my GGGrandfather, Egbert A. Taylor died in Benton County, Arkansas, in 1916. Could be we are related. Freelove is not an everyday name! You can find me on Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness blog on Facebook, if you think we could be related. Thanks
