worked with the OSS and Polish Freedom Fighters in exile
post-war served as a security guard for prisoners
immigrated to the United States and settled in Jonesboro, Arkansas
worked for Arkansas State University as a groundskeeper and gardener on the campus and home of President Carl R. Reng
Stanley was a well-known figure on campus and known for his beloved roses which were his speciality
