Celia Krichesky & her husband, Samual (Misha) Krichesky came to the United States from Ismail, Odessa, Russia. They were 1st cousins. They became farmers in Oregon City, OR where their daughters, Esther and Libbie (Bibs) were born. Libbie was born in 1895. The family became homesick and relatives in Russia sent them money to return to the homeland. Their children, Lou, Boris and Fritzie were then born at home in Russia. Sometime before 1909 the Krichesky’s returned to Oregon, bringing with them Misha’s parents and his niece, Doris (Dodo). Doris’ father was Misha’s brother--her mother died young and Doris was raised by her uncle & aunt (Misha & Celia).
