Yvon Roy and Friends abt 1928

Winter, around 1928. Saint Georges de Beauce, Quebec.

Some of the kids are Henri Roy and his brother Yvon Roy who is smiling on the sleigh in the background. But we don't know who the other kids were.

About the house in the background: It's located on 1st Avenue in Saint Georges de Beauce, Quebec, Canada. House said to have been constructed by Joseph Adelard Gagnon had construction begun on this tall three storey wood-framed house on 1st Ave est. When completed two years later in 1900, he and his wife Marie Jessie Bilodeau, moved in. They had at least five children including Cecile Gagnon who would later become the mother of these two kids mentioned above.

Joseph Adelard Gagnon was a photographer.
Notice the barber pole at right on the porch of the house. There was also a barber shop.
