Jeremiah Kane Lynch was born in Georgetown area of Washington D.C. His parents were James Lynch and Jane Kane from Ireland. Jeremiah sometimes went by Jere or Jerrie. He used to invent things like cosmetics and sell them in Jasper and other nearby towns. He married Arminda Herron in Eldridge, Alabama in 1893.
