William Ophalo Jackson Manders (1880-1928) of Georgia. His wife Mary Elizabeth Parks (1887-1926). They lived most of their lives in northern Georgia, around Dalton, Ga.

William was the son John Jackson Manders (1841-1859) maker of fine baskets and Lucy Anna Franklin, who was rumored to be a descendant of Ben Franklin. John Jackson Manders was the son of John Manders (1808-1883) and Susan Jane Helton, all from Gwinnett County, Georgia.

William made nice hand-made furniture and could do almost anything.

William and Mary Elizabeth had several children:
