Flora J. Swayne, a daughter of Evan H. and Mary (Sears) Swayne
In 1871 Mr. Totten was united in marriage with Flora J. Swayne, a daughter of Evan H. and Mary (Sears) Swayne, natives of Bureau County, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Totten became the parents of the following children: Frank, who married Ellen Nighswander, resides at Ames, Iowa; George E., who married Augusta Ewald, resides at Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Earl, who married Mabel Dyarman, has one son, Guy.
