This is an old photo of the Chicago Great Western Railroad station just west of Il.Route 59 at Ingalton,(West Chicago)Illinois.I have seen it in various historical Books about the CGW.

Very interesting photo. Did you know the sign on this station hangs in the Sonny Acres store on North Ave. Do you know what year this was taken? I think around 1909. Hope to hear from you.

Hi Jerry,It has been quite a while since I visited this old photos website,sorry that my reply has been somewhat untimely.I was not sure of the exact year of this photo although I study the CGW RR & live about a block away from the old abandoned right of way near Elmhurst.It is a shame that the Great Western shut down so many years ago,it was a very interesting railroad. I had seen as a child near my home in the late 1960's.I have never been to Sonny Acres but I do know where it is at,someday I will go there & check out this portrait.Thanks for letting me know.Dave
