Henry was born 28 April 1842 the son of Dietrich and Catherine Marxmiller of Baden, Germany. The family settled in Campbell County, Kentucky and then he came to Illinois living in the Danville, Rossville, and Watseka Illinois areas. Henry lived on North Fourth Street in Watseka, IL at the time of his death 17 October 1917. He is buried at Rossville Cemetery in Rossville, Vermillion County, IL.
Her was the husband of Anna Ralston Dederick -2 kids, Mary Melissa Betts- 6 kids and then Emma K. Peters).
Children: 1st marriage: Laura(Rice), William / 2nd marriage: Effie (Jamison), Grace (Lewis), Edward H., George H., Homer Elmer, Mary Melissa (Reinhard)
