Houston Ringer funeral rites for Houston Ringer, 83, of 1645 Marion Ave., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at 504 W. Third St. The Rev. George Anderson EUB Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Hayden Cemetery.
Ringer died at 7 p.m. Friday at Marion General Hospital where he had been a patient one week. He had been in ill health the past decade. A resident of Marion for 32 years, Mr. Ringer was last employed by the Nickel Plate Railroad. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Hayden, Ind.
Survivors include four sons, Raleigh, Alexandria, James of Alpine, Ind. Houston Jr., and William, Marion: one Daughter, Mrs. Carrie Earnest, Uniondale: one brother. Mike, Hayden, and 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
