Pretty six year old Iowa youngster has hair that measures 37 inches. She's only six, but pretty Jo McConnell, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa has tresses longer that most girls. Jo's hair measures 37 inches one inch more than a yard! form the crown of her head to the end of the longest strand. The hair of this lass is blond and straight. It didn't really begin growing until she was one year old. But since then it has averages better than five inches a year. And..it's still growing. 1940's
