Alexander Russell 1843-1917 son of Christian Russel of Richland County, Ohio. Christian Russell lived in Greenfield Township, Bedford County Penn. in 1828/1830. Many Bedford County Penn. people moved to Richland County Ohio. Seeking Christian Russel's parents a long time.

Alexander Russell followed the railroad building across the midwest; settling in Jefferson, Greene County Iowa on a small farm. Later moved to Spirit Lake in NW Iowa.
