He married Mary Ann Yeager 14 Feb 1866 in Mahoning Co, OH, daughter of Daniel Yeager and Elizabeth Carnes. She was born 5 Aug 1842 in Trumbull Co, OH, and died 11 Oct 1922 in Auburn, Shawnee Co, KS. She was buried in Mission Center Cemetery, Topeka, Auburn Twp, Shawnee Co, KS.
