May Groendyke, far right, was born on Jul 10, 1866. May was the daughter of Lewis Groendyke/Groenendyke (born Dec 6, 1833 in Indiana) and Mary Hard (born Nov 1, 1846 in New York).
May married Thomas Connolly in Kansas on Oct 7, 1886. Thomas & May eventually settled in Washington County, OR. Their children were: Arthur, Sidney, Roy, Winifred, Mary, Burton Louis, George.
Thomas died on Oct 25, 1945 and May died on Jul 1, 1950. Both are buried in the Forest View Cemetery in Washington County, OR.
The other individuals in this photo are unidentified, though they may be May Groendyke's mother and perhaps a sister. Do you recognize them? Please let me know.

Brown cousin of Mary Hard
I have a picture of William H. Brown, who would have been a first cousin to Mary Hard. I also have pictures of William's son Edward, who would have been a second cousin to May Groendyke. I can see a family resemblance, but it may be the power of suggestion.
