Mae Mattingly and Wilma Watson on a Paper Moon

Mae Mattingly and Wilma Watson on a Paper Moon

This photograph came from a carnival that Wilma Watson was not allowed to visit. She did not have permission, however with the help of her neighbor, Mae Mattingly, they managed to attend and pose for a picture. Mae had been heavily scarred on the neck by an accident that took place while starting a fire with kerosene. Four nails repaired the broken Paper Moon.
