Dear Chris,
It has been many years since you and I first met probably around 1962 in Kentucky. I am the youngest daughter of Robert B. Higgs. One of the sons of Gordia B. Webb-Higgs. My dad and mom both always talked very favorable of Uncle Joe and Aunt Dollie Webb. I have been working on the family genealogy for the past four years. Our parent's pictures through the years have been shared so I am very grateful that you have placed some family pictures on this website as I have only one picture of Great-Aunt Dollie and I believe my sister might have one of Great-Uncle Joe, Gordia's brother. She and I are making copies for each other. I have a couple pictures of my Grandmother Gordia Webb. She and Grandpa Will Higgs are buried at the Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, Arkansas. I have been trying to find out as much as I can about Grandmother Gordia Webb and find pictures. I have been told stories by my dad that she was a good mother, helpful to neighbors, was a country nurse in her earlier years as a mid-wife. I did just find out that Grandpa Will and Grandma Gordia got married on March 23, 1913 in Lawrence County, Arkansas. My private email is debbie@quadword.com please send a note anytime I would love to hear from you and more about our family. If you would like copies of Grandma Gordia's pictures please let me know. I am early retired from teaching computer at our local college and live in Texas. Thank you again for sharing your photos and information. I was so excited to find them on here.
Enjoy your day,
Debbie Higgs-Honeycutt
