Joseph Frederick Skelley, Sr. was born April 8, 1910, in Zihlman, Allegany County, MD. Joseph died Aug 31, 1997, in Cumberland, MD.
He was the son of Ralph Benedict Skelley and Lula Lease Skelley. Joseph married Velma Ralston, daughter of Elby Ralston and Carrie Jones Ralston. Joseph was the proprietor of Skelley's Appliance and Parts, Cumberland, Md. where he worked for 50 years.
