Roman Grill, 6th USAAF, 1944

Roman Grill was drafted in 1943 at age 34. He completed Signal Corps basic training at Camp Crowder, Missouri, and was assigned to the 6th USAAF at Albrook Field, Panama Canal Zone. Roman was a graphic artist for the 6th Air Force magazine, "Carribean Breeze". He was discharged in 1946 and returned to the private sector in St. Paul, Minnesota where he worked as an art director and creative director until his retirement in 1987.
