Michael and Elizabeth were married in Quncy Illinois. They moved to Braymer, Missouri where they lived for the rest of their lives. Michael was from Bavaria. Elizabeth Louisa Amon was from Memphis Tennessee. The name was originally spelled LORETH. The name was sometimes spelled LORETTE. Even to this day, half the family uses the e on the end...half does not.
