Pvt. Orrin A. Grover 9th NYV Cavalry Co. I

Civil War photo of my Great Grandfather, Orrin A Grover. Two tours of duty and wounded twice. Buried in Old Masonic Cemetery, St. James, Phelps Co., MO with "9th NY Cavalry" engraved on his tombstone. The 9th was mustered into service in Westfield, NY and became known as the "Westfield Cavalry".
