Susannah Ellen Clark Hathaway born Jul 29, 1822 in Hector, Tompkins County, New York. She is the daughter of Michael and Matilda Clark and married John Hathaway about 1840.
She lived in Port Allegany, McKean County, PA, from about 1847 to 1862. Susan and John Hathaway had children Philip, Daniel Webster, Michael James, Elisha Brown, John Wesley and Ellen Susannah Hathaway. Susan had two known brothers, Daniel and Avery.
