Laura E. Smith McFarline of Warsaw, New York

I found this photo in a flea market in Crystal Hill, Arkansas. On the back it says "Laura McFarline". The photographer's studio is Duryea of Warsaw, NY formerly of 201 Sixth Avenue, NYC. After research I believe that this individual is:

Laura E. Smith
born 1837 in Genessee Falls, Wyoming County, New York
died 25 Nov 1916 in Warsaw, Wyoming County, New York
wife of James A. McFarline (born Mar 1840, died 22 Jun 1919)
father was Prosper Smith (born abt 1811 in Vermont, died Oct 1868)
mother was Lucy Avenline White (born 1814 in NY, died 1881)

Laura and James had a son Frank Adelbert McFarline (born 1868, died 15 Aug 1958) and Fred Smith McFarline (born 22 Nov 1873, died Jan 1967) who lived in Alaska and Sykesville, MD. Fred participated in the Iditarod. Both James and his son Frank were sheriff of Wyoming county and the family was very active in local government and society.
