Pezzoni or Giri Woman

Pezzoni or Giri Woman

This is a very beautiful picture of a woman that is a member of either the Pezzoni Family or Giri family. The back of the picture says Theresa Marie Pezzoni. There is also faded writing that looks like the name Giri. The name Theresa Marie Pezzoni was also the name of one of my aunts, so the same name on the back may just be an indication that the picture was in her possession at one time. Does anyone recognize this beautiful woman?

Giri or Pezzoni Woman

The woman in this picture is now believed to be Tessi Giri. Tessie Giri was married to Frank Giri. Her daughter would be Clara Giri Pezzoni and her granddaughter would be Alberta (Alba) Marie Pezzoni Gardner. Alberta Gardner was my grand mother. That would make Tessie Giri my great great grandmother. Tessie and Frank are buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.

Alberta Gardner, Dolores Garner Pike, were related to my father
