Timothy R. and Deborah Hawley Headstones

Graves of Timothy Ruggles Hawley and his wife Deborah Ingham, Oakdale Cemetery, Jefferson, Ohio.
Timothy Ruggles Hawley, son of Rev. Rufus Hawley and Deborah Kent, was born in West Avon, Ct., in 1771. He died in Jefferson, Ohio in 1828.
In 1790 he married Deborah Ingham, daughter of Elizabeth Chalker and Jonathan Ingham. Deborah, born in 1770 in Saybrook, Ct., was a direct descendant, through her mother, of John Alden and Pricilla Mullins, pilgrims of the Mayflower, that arrived in what is today Plymouth, Ma. in 1620. Deborah died in Jefferson, Ohio in 1851.
Timothy and Deborah Hawley were the parents of Dr. Almon Hawley, 1801-1876.
