Joseph Alben Kelly, first row, was the son of was Aaron Kelly of Butler Co., PA. Aaron Kelly married Ruth Ann Hale Smiley in May 1834. They became the parents of: Ellsy Ann Kelly (b.1835), Joseph Alben Kelly (b. Jan 27, 1837), Samuel Hale Kelly (b. 1838, married Sarah Jane Thompson, lived in Shenango Twp), Thomas J. Kelly (b.1841), William Kelly (b. 1844), John Kelly (twin of Margaret Kelly, b. Mar 29, 1851 in Ohio), Margaret Mahala Kelly (twin of John, married Samuel Law), Ellen Kelly (b. 1854).
