Aaron Parsons was the son of Daniel H. Parsons III and Elizabeth Harper. He was a veteran of the Civil War having served for 4 years with the 4th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry. Campaigns of Chattanooga, Vicksburg and Youngs Point.
He married Mary Malissa Jones was the daughter of Westly Jones and Charlotte McKnight.
Photo taken for his wedding in 1866 in Meigs County, Ohio.
